Do you like to work on a variety of projects, leading customer and partner teams to achieve tangible business outcomes?The Amazon Web Services Professional Services team is looking for an Enterprise Service Manager (ESM) that can manage the working relationship with Enterprise organisations across Travel/Transport/Logistics and Manufacturing, develop a long-term Professional Services strategy and execute that strategy with those accounts.The ESM is a trusted advisor for our largest and most committed customers. The role includes all aspects of business development, relationship development, delivery oversight and program management in those accounts.Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and are obsessed about strong success for the Customer. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organisation to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs.We are looking for someone who is passionate about:Long term development of Enterprise organisationsEngaging with customers to understand their business drivers and application portfolioDevelopment of long term Cloud Strategy for customersIdentifying & developing specific opportunities and supporting business casesDeal shaping, including estimations and deal pricingContract negotiations & closingPlanning and implementation of a portfolio of projects, including budget & deliverable responsibilitiesMitigation of delivery risks & issuesOverseeing delivery of projects in account, ensuring high quality deliveryActing as single person of contact for Customer executives, developing deep, trustful relationsEducate customers on AWS services and translate those into a clear business value propositionEnvisioning and inspiring customersCoaching Customer and Partner teams to be self-sufficientIs passionate and curious about technologyThis is a customer facing role and you be required to travel to client locations to deliver professional services when needed.About the teamAWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSExperience as strategical Sales and Transformational Lead leading complex, cross-domain transformational opportunities from inception to closure with global enterprise customersExperience within one of the industries: travel, transport, manufacturingExperience developing value based proposition crafting and selling solutions mapped to customer business outcomeProfessional Services / Consulting experienceExperience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholdersPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English (mandatory) and German (preferred).Experience in cloud based solutioning (AWS or equivalent).Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
