Enterprise Data Program Manager 12 Month Initial contract + EXT

January 2025 Start Date We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Manager, specialising in Data Management to drive strategic goals across data governance, uplift internal capabilities, and enhance data maturity.
This role will focus on consolidating a federated data model across the organisation, ensuring alignment with the broader data strategy.
The successful candidate will play a very important part in the delivery of complex, high-impact projects / programs, enhancing our client's data management framework and maintaining a culture of data excellence.
Key Accountabilities Include: Strategic Data Leadership: Guide the development and delivery of data management initiatives that elevate data governance, align with strategic goals, and enhance the organisation's data maturity. Business Case Development: Create business cases for data projects that effectively communicate value and present actionable insights for committee investment approval. Project Planning & Management: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans covering scope, timelines, resource allocation, risk, and budget control. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with IT, OT, business units, and external vendors, promoting a unified, organisation-wide approach to data and overall technology integration. Content & Data Management Solutions: Oversee the implementation and integration of content management and collaboration tools within a federated data model, ensuring these solutions are reliant and seamlessly integrated with existing systems. Performance Monitoring: Track projects performance, proactively address challenges, and implement solutions to ensure alignment with data maturity goals and project success. Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates on project progress to senior management, highlighting data maturity achievements, potential risks, and mitigation strategies. Regulatory & Best Practice Compliance: Ensure data initiatives comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices, prioritising data security and integrity. Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and promoting a holistic, strategic view of data within the organisation. Technical Capabilities: Minimum of five years of experience managing technology or information management projects or programs, with a focus on delivering impactful results. Hands-on experience with enterprise content management and / or Microsoft 365 implementations. Familiarity with Information Security and Records Management policies. Demonstrated experience in Information Management projects or programs that utilise M365 / Azure data governance tools and processes. Proficiency in advanced document processing capabilities, leveraging AI for automated data extraction and processing. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging and influencing stakeholders across all levels. Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Skilled in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar platforms. Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail. Mandatory Experience: Degree in Information Technology, or a related field. 7+ years in managing business systems projects within project or program management roles. Certified in project management methodologies and tools such as PMP, Prince2, PRAXIS, Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar. Demonstrated success in leading enterprise content management implementation projects. Exceptional organisational abilities with proficiency in managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
