Responsibilities: Lead and oversee the Enterprise Data Management program to ensure alignment with organizational goals, regulatory mandates, and audit requirements. Develop and manage a detailed program roadmap, coordinating closely with IT, legal, compliance, and business unit stakeholders. Oversee program budget, resources, and timelines and provide progress reports to senior management. Facilitate regular risk assessments to align data management practices with organizational risk tolerance. Develop metrics to track program success and data compliance maturity. Ensure compliance with all relevant data protection regulations and industry standards. Promote cultural change by advancing data management through targeted training and awareness initiatives. Experience: Extensive experience as a Program Manager within IT or data management roles. Strong expertise in data management concepts (e.g. data governance, data protection, data classification) and an understanding of supporting technologies and best practices. Knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and adherence to industry standards. Demonstrated experience with data governance frameworks and methodologies. Proficient in project and program management, including initiation, stakeholder engagement, budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management. Previous experience with government departments is a plus. Prior experience managing an Enterprise Data Management program or project is advantageous. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CDMP) are beneficial.
