State/Province Australian Capital Territory Country Australia Job Description Contract period: For 12 months with furtherperiod of 12 Months Location: ACT Security: Must have Baseline About the Role: SoftLabs is seeking Enterprise ComputingCloud Hybrid Specialist for ICT Labour hire at their technology consulting basedin Canberra.
Responsibilities: Provide specialist advice and support tothe Enterprise Computing Delivery Lead. contributing to the Department's futureenterprise computing approach and leading any subsequent approaches to marketfor these services Work as part of a leveraged team oftechnical, commercial, and service delivery specialists under the direction ofthe Enterprise Computing Delivery Lead. Working with a diverse array ofstakeholders to identify and develop enterprise computing requirements forinclusion in approaches to market. The ability to lead relevant workshops andtechnical discussions to produce a consensus view or outcome. Developing relevant documentation includingcurrent and future state requirements. Required skills and experience Demonstrated experience as an enterprisecomputing engineer or solution architect working on private and/or public cloudenterprise computing technologies and services. Demonstrated experience designing andimplementing solutions and services utilising hyper-scale public cloudprovider's (e.g. Microsoft, AWS) technologies and services. Demonstrated experience in implementing ICToutsourcing arrangements, including experience in requirements development,tender evaluation, contract negotiation, and service implementation. Demonstrated experience in implementingenterprise computing services within Government. Previous experience in working with a widerange of complex and intertwining issues to identify paths to resolution. Ability to collaborate with technical andnon-technical teams to identify gaps in strategy, delivery, and capability,resolve complex issues and seek consensus. Strong written and verbal communicationskills to effectively communicate to stakeholders, executive and technicalstaff. The ability to present information and communicate expectations acrossconflicting priorities/workloads.
