The primary purpose of this role is to partner with the non-investment related business units to implement the risk and compliance management strategy.The key responsibilitiesWith the senior manager of compliance lead the compliance efforts to implement, manage and continually enhance the funds compliance framework and to drive the compliance strategy across business units in a consistent manner;Coordinate across the business to ensure compliance obligations, controls and attestations are of a high quality and completed in a timely manner;Promote a compliance culture within the business through training, education and compliance awareness;Engage with the business by providing advice and support that will assist the business to comply with its legal, regulatory, license and statutory obligations;Provide compliance advice and support on projects and initiatives, including system and process changes;Support the implementation of legislative and regulatory change across the business;Own the investigation and documentation of breaches (including notifiable breaches) by producing Breach Assessment Reports, providing these recommendations to Senior Leaders to be considered for reporting to regulators;Support the business to review and assess the effectiveness of controls designed to meet compliance obligations;Support the development, review and implementation of compliance policies;Support the preparation of compliance reports and updates for the Board, Audit and Risk Committees and Chiefs;Undertake privacy impact assessments and prepare privacy data request responses.About You:Relevant tertiary qualifications in commerce or law;An RG146 qualification (or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months);6+ years' experience in compliance within financial services ideally within superannuation;Demonstratable line 2 compliance experience within superannuation;Demonstratable breach assessment experience within superannuation;Detailed knowledge of compliance, legislative and regulatory requirements relevant to financial services industry;Excellent written and verbal communications skills;Strong problem-solving abilities;Previous experience working on multiple tasks simultaneously.This is an exciting opportunity to work with a superannuation fund while they uplift their frameworks and go through large regulatory change.How to ApplyFor more information or a confidential discussion please call
