Job Description
As an Enterprise Architect, you will also play a pivotal role in pre-sales activities, working closely with clients to understand their business needs to craft compelling proposals that deliver business value. You will support our senior leadership in showcasing our capabilities to customers. You will be the driving force behind creating cutting-edge, comprehensive solution architectures that consider scalability, performance, and security.
You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our security solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing advanced security architectures that align with the organization's business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of security principles, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
You'll collaborate and partner closely with our clients to design end-to-end solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible. This role demands a deep understanding of clients' technology landscapes and the ability to architect and curate compelling solutions that meet their business strategies. You will be responsible for architectural decisions ensuring solutions are compliant with industry regulations, standards, and best practices. Key Responsibilities & Skills
Pre-Sales & Demand Generation
Collaborate closely with the sales team to articulate the business value and benefits of proposed large solutions to clients, ensuring deep understanding of their business strategies.
Conduct presentations and technical workshops that showcase our capabilities and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Respond to RF(x)'s with tailored solutions that address client needs and demonstrate our expertise and extend value.
Develop value propositions and articulate the business benefits of solutions to influence decision-making and drive successful outcomes.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the client's technology landscape and its interdependencies to inform solution design and strategic recommendations.
Be actively involved in strategic sales planning and delivery governance, ensuring that IT initiatives are aligned with both client and company objectives.
Solution Design and Architecture
Experience architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions across multiple industries, with a focus on ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Develop solution documentation, including architecture diagrams that aid project plans and guide the successful implementation of proposed solutions.
Collaborate with capability teams and domain architects to ensure that solutions encompass the best showcase of our capabilities and meet both technical and business requirements.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with proposed solutions, ensuring that all designs are compliant with industry standards and regulations while extending client value.
Provide governance and oversight during the delivery phase to maintain architectural integrity and alignment with the original solution design.
Security Architecture
Ensure that security architectures adhere to industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
Develop, implement, and maintain robust security architectures that protect the organization's digital assets and data.
Stay abreast of current and emerging security threats and vulnerabilities to ensure effective mitigation strategies.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to security teams, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices.
Evaluate and select security products and vendors that align with the organization's strategic goals.
Understanding of business needs and how security can enable them.
Deep understanding of security principles, architectures, and best practices.
Deep knowledge of security principles, best practices, and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI DSS) SABSA, TOGAF, CISSP.
Collaboration and Communication
Engage with very senior-level stakeholders, demonstrating a deep understanding of their business needs and challenges.
Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure the feasibility and alignment of proposed solutions with client needs and expectations.
Communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals, and strategies clearly to stakeholders at all levels, both within the company and on the client side.
Highly presentable and professional, with the ability to represent the company and value effectively in senior client-facing situations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
Qualifications
Previous experience working on Federal Government projects.
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) highly desirable.
Extensive experience in pre-sales, enterprise architecture, and solutions architecture, with a strong track record of success.
Proven ability to develop and present compelling proposals to senior-level stakeholders.
Exceptional consulting skills, with the ability to quickly understand client needs and align them with large, tailored solutions that extend client value.
Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering IT solutions across multiple industries, including government.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Solid commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of digital transformation and enterprise architecture principles.
TOGAF certification is highly desirable.
