About the Job The Enterprise Architect plays a crucial role in shaping our technology landscape.
In this strategic position, you will be responsible for defining, maintaining, and ensuring alignment of our enterprise architecture with the organisation's long-term goals.
This involves driving the development of both current and future state architecture, guiding domain and solution architects, and providing governance through key architecture committees.
Your leadership will help us deliver business objectives and customer outcomes efficiently and effectively across a broad range of technology initiatives.
About the Person We are looking for a forward-thinking and experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
You'll be an effective communicator who can engage both business and technical stakeholders, providing clear guidance and support across a variety of projects.
TOGAF certification is essential for this role, and experience in government or utilities sectors will be highly valued.
Your expertise should span a broad range of technology solutions, and familiarity with ArchiMate modelling language would be a plus.
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a collaborative approach will be key to your success.
Your Responsibilities Will Include: Leading technology strategic planning using enterprise architecture techniques to understand current- and guide future-state concepts, engaging stakeholders effectively. Providing architecture governance and endorsement for architectures (conceptual, segment/program-level and solution), participating in, and chairing, key governance bodies, and through document collaboration and review. Guiding architects in developing architecture diagrams, models, and documents using SA Water's approved techniques, which you define and continuously improve. Endorsing and guiding the development of technology capability strategies and maintaining architectural information systems. Your Success in This Role Will Come From: Relevant tertiary qualifications in information technology, business or computer science. TOGAF certification. Understanding of the architecture discipline, architecture frameworks, process, linkage to the business, methods of communication, architectural methodologies, tools and notations, governance, reference architectures, information and communication technologies, and business application patterns. Experience in developing and presenting technology strategies and enterprise architecture framework and experience in all aspects of SDLC requirements – Desirable. Ability to manage stakeholder and team member expectations and a broad and extensive technical knowledge to allow a balanced view to be maintained – Desirable.
