About the role: We are looking for an Enterprise Architect to contribute to CDC's ICT Strategy and deliver ICT technology initiatives as we embark on digital transformation. The incumbent will act as a steward and custodian for capabilities development and value realisation and will be responsible for improving processes. implementing systems, integrating data and leading teams. Critical to the effective delivery of ICT projects the Enterprise Architect will ensure end-to-end alignment to CDC's design guidelines and solution architecture.
Key responsibilities include: • The definition, maintenance, and conformance management of the Enterprise Architecture and implementation of any supporting processes or activities.
• Oversight and ownership of the Enterprise Architecture, including coordination, governance and continuous evolution.
• Provide advisory services to business areas, demonstrating a strong understanding of both business and technology landscapes, seeking to align strategies in both domains.
• Safeguard and evolve CDC's technology landscape, ensuring it retains business relevance and continuous to return value on investment.
• Continuous optimisation of the enterprise architecture to ensure cost efficiency and effectiveness.
• Architectural leadership in the resolutions of architectural conflicts that may arise during ICT delivery programs, projects or business-as-usual.
• On-going communication and promotion of the Enterprise Architecture and its value.
• Ongoing research and assessment of new analysis approaches for potential use within the Enterprise.
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Support the delivery of I&S projects, throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring projects align to I&S strategy and comply with the enterprise architecture.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to design and map proposed future state business operations, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, boost effectiveness, and improve stakeholder experiences.
• Validate and document business requirements to inform technical and functional requirements and business impacts.?
• Support communication of progress, achievements, and timelines with stakeholders.
• Work with Legal and Risk teams to ensure that all aspects of CDC's compliance landscape and external requirements are met for each project and/or proposal.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Mentor and impart knowledge to team members and across the business.
• Use and continually develop leadership skills.

About you: • 7+ years in business analysis and project delivery roles, demonstrating successful project outcomes, on-time execution, and on-budget success.
• Experience leading and working with a mixed team of personnel, including internal resources and external service providers.
• Solid technical background, with hands-on experience in software development, application implementation, enterprise architecture and web technologies.
• Relevant certification in Enterprise Architecture (Eg TOGAF)
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to analyse, interpret, and make data-driven recommendations.
Essential: • Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain AGSVA Security Clearance at Negative Vetting 1 level.
