As an Enterprise Architect, you'll be at the forefront of transforming the ACT Health digital landscape. You will lead the development and alignment of our Enterprise Architecture and Governance services, ensuring they support our Digital Health Strategy. You will take on a multifaceted role that includes providing strategic direction, managing workflow, and fostering a collaborative environment.
You'll be responsible for developing and implementing frameworks, tools, and control processes to align our Enterprise Architecture with ACT Health's Digital Health Strategy.
The Digital Solutions Division (DSD) is led by the Chief Information Officer (CIO) who provides high-level leadership, management, and strategic advice in relation to performance reporting and technology capabilities across the ACT public health system. The Digital Solutions Division is responsible for:
the implementation and support of the Digital Health Strategy, management of technology services and projects, the development and implementation of a performance reporting framework, statutory and intergovernmental reporting requirements, management of the relationship and services delivery by technology vendors including Shared Services ICT, development, implementation and maintenance of technology policies and procedures, information management and information security, and delivery of ICT infrastructure for new and refurbished health facilities. Eligibility/Other requirements: ArchiMate 2.1 certification and familiarisation with ArchiMate 3. Business Architecture and business modelling certification such as in BizBOK and BPMN. Familiarisation with the Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect tools and modules. Familiarisation with the Australian ISM and PSPF. Holds a valid EA methodology certification, for example TOGAF 9.1 Certified. Experience in virtualisation platforms, Windows and RedHat operating systems and server administration. Experience and certifications in cloud computing such as AWS and Microsoft Azure. Working knowledge of Internet Information Services (IIS), network protocols and functionality including TCP/IP. Active Directory, SQL Server, and application deployment platforms such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop. Notes: This is a temporary position available for a period of eleven months, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
