We offer a wide range of IT services in Security, infrastructure, and Systems Integration to a diverse customer base throughout Australia, New Zealand, SE Asia, and Europe.About the Engagement:Green Light are looking for a Enterprise Architect to join our Technology Client supporting projects with their customer in government.About the roleMust HavesExperience in working with Risk and understanding risk/issues, both how it relates to business and technologyExperience in maturating organisation's IT governance and operating modelsTOGAF cert is mandatoryPosition and Project Overview:An Enterprise Architect resource is required to drive LAWA's Digital Transformation programme, uplift their architecture practice and provide technical leadership across all business divisions.Key Requirements:Collaborate with business leaders, divisional directors, and stakeholders to understand their objectives and ensure that technology strategies align with the goals.Create and manage the roadmap that outlines the evolution of technology solutions to meet current and future business needs.Contribute to definition and enforcement of technology standards, best practices, and architectural principles to maintain consistency and quality across the organization.Support the identification and mitigation of technology risks, ensuring that security and compliance requirements are met.Work with Data Governance, Cyber security, Platform teams and Risk and Portfolio Offices to implement engagement processes to capture and track issues raised from assessments in project registers and risk registers or delivered risk with respect to the product/application designed.Maintain comprehensive documentation of the enterprise architecture, including roadmaps, strategies, diagrams, models, and policies.Educate and raise awareness among personnel and stakeholders about the importance of adhering to enterprise architecture principles.Develop, implement, and maintain LAWA's architectural framework, incorporating best practices and catering to both internal and external stakeholders.Support the Chief Information Officer by providing leadership and direction for enterprise technology architecture.Participate in governance forums to enforce architectural standards and practices.Map out the existing IT architecture, including systems, applications, and infrastructure. Provide a comprehensive overview of the current state to inform decision-making.Assess the current IT architecture and business processes. Develop and present recommendations for improvements and a potential future state architecture that aligns with business goals and objectives.Provide thought leadership and guidance on enterprise applications and cloud architecture principles.Prioritise the contribution that technology can make to business objectives, defining strategies, validating, and justifying business needs.Provide guidance on best practices during design and implementation in all areas including network design, operational models, Application Programming Interface (API) integration, network management, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process integration.Support the Chief Information Officer in ensuring the architectural principles and standards are adhered to by Managed Service providers.Required Competencies:A minimum of five years' experience working in solution design/architecture roles.Strong technical knowledge of technology, data, and integration capabilities, with exposure to digital and cloud technologies.The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certification.Strong business analysis and stakeholder engagement skills.Exceptional communication skills coupled with an ability to negotiate and influence.Proven track record in architecture governance, including experience with architecture review boards and framework customization.Proficiency in creating architecture roadmaps, target and transition architectures, and technology blueprints.Core Deliverables:Ensure all relevant documentation is developed, updated, and maintained in accordance with Customer processes and procedures and stored in the Customer Content Management System.Review, update, prioritise and maintain the customers Digital Transformation programme.Provide leadership across all divisions through producing practical artefacts and design guidance that enables both individual projects and specific business outcomes to be successful.How to Apply:Interested candidates should submit their resume detailing their relevant experience and qualifications along with a cover letter with work rights details.Green Light Worldwide will review all applications, and qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview.Application submission closes on 10th Nov 2024.
