It is responsible for the provision of services within the specialty to patients across Austin Health, which is situated at Austin Hospital and Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital.The priority for this position is to assist the accredited registrars and the rest of the team run the ENT Unit efficiently and effectively across two campuses (Austin and Repatriation Hospitals).Key accountabilities in the role include:Ensuring all theatre lists/clinics have appropriate cover, across all sites where Austin Health provides surgery services, including the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital.Demonstrate a commitment to high quality patient care.Demonstrate a commitment to working as a team member with peer medical, junior medical, nursing and other clinical staff to provide efficient, safe and quality care across the continuum.Demonstrate a commitment to teaching, training and research.About youTo be successful in this role, you'll bring with you:Registration with the Medical Board of Victoria (AHPRA).Fellowship Certificate (Specialist Medical College).Completed specialist training in accredited Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery program including exit exams.Demonstrated clinical practice at a high standard.Well-developed communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English.Prior experience in microsurgery.Experience in clinical research desirable.Please note: You will be required to attach copies of the following to your online application:Cover letter.Current Curriculum Vitae (CV).Undergraduate Qualification Certificate (Medical Degree).Fellowship Certificate (Specialist Medical College).Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).Current Medical Indemnity Certificate.Proof of Identification (current passport or Australian drivers' licence).Working with Children's Check Card (where applicable).Our benefitsWorking at Austin Health means enjoying a strong sense of purpose, engaging in meaningful work every day.
