We provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services, including maternity, palliative care, mental health, drug and alcohol, residential care, community health and state-wide specialist services to people and communities that are diverse in culture, age, socio-economic status, population and healthcare needs.
About the role The ENT/Head & Neck Unit at EH is one of the most established and comprehensive in the state. It attracts excellent Senior Medical Staff and has a reputation amongst Junior Medical Staff as one of the best training rotations in Victoria. We have a diverse team of surgeons who are all committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care, as well as to the training of accredited Registrars, non-accredited Registrars and HMO's and Medical students. We service a large part of eastern Victoria and see a variety of ENT conditions ranging from paediatrics to complex Head and Neck surgery and everything in between. This role will include theatre lists and outpatient sessions at the Blackburn site to be opened later in 2024, but may potentially also include cover for sessions at Box Hill and Angliss.
About you  To be successful in this role you will possess:
a reputation for excellence Current Specialist Medical Registration with AHPRA Post Graduate qualifications in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (FRACS or equivalent)Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experienceA strong commitment to high quality careThe ability to work as part of a diverse teamExcellent communication and organisational skillsPlease refer to the attached position description for further details of the role.
