In this exciting role, you will support Registered Nurses and other team members in providing high-quality, person-centred care to patients before, during, and after surgery.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Enrolled Nurse to expand their skills in the fast-paced and rewarding environment of the Operating Theatre.As an Enrolled Nurse in the Operating Theatre, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team, contributing to a safe and supportive environment for both patients and staff.
You will provide nursing care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, while taking responsibility for your actions and ensuring high standards of practice.Key Responsibilities: Assist the Registered Nurse in providing person-centred care to surgical patients.Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures.Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, reporting any changes in clinical condition.Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.Assist with patient assessments, documentation, and post-operative care.
What We're Looking For: Enrolled Nurse, or eligible for enrolment, with a current practicing certificate.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to prioritise workload and provide care in a fast-paced environment.A commitment to providing person-centred care and working collaboratively with others.Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in surgical or operating theatre care.Knowledge of the role of an Enrolled Nurse and relevant healthcare standards and legislation.
