Southern Adelaide Local Health Network – Noarlunga - Older Persons Mental HEalth Salary $62,128- $72,651 p.a. (pro rata) ENC/END | Full Time – Ongoing Join the Older Persons Mental Health Unit as an Enrolled Nurse and help make a difference in Southern Adelaide's local community! About the Role: In this role, you will support the Registered Nurse in the provision of person-centred care consistent with regulatory and statutory requirements. At this level, you will develop your skills from novice to proficient Enrolled Nurse practice. You will work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse however, at all times, will retain responsibility for your own actions and remain accountable in providing nursing/midwifery care.
About you: Registered or eligible for registration as an enrolled nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.In order to administer medicines, must have completed a Board-approved program of study which includes an administration of medicines unit.Demonstrated commitment to high quality, compassionate, relationship-centred care to consumers living with dementia who experience associated behavioural and psychological symptoms at very severe to extreme levels.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.
