The Role:Deliver evidence-based care in accordance with the nursing care plan under the direction and supervision of the Registered nurse.Participate in decision making with the multidisciplinary team to achieve planned patient outcomes.Assist in the collection of comprehensive clinical data from the patient and/or family.Promote and participate in education opportunities to maintain self-development.Actively participate in and contribute to the organisations Quality and Safety and Work Health & Safety processes.You will need:Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an enrolled nurse (Holds a Board-approved qualification in administration of medicines).Works under the direction and supervision of the NUM.Delivers nursing care as delegated by the NUM.Accountable for the standard of nursing care provided and acts to rectify unsafe practices.Comply at all times with policy and protocol requirements including those related to mandatory education and training.Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.
Details of appointment:Fixed term, casual position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 24 months.
