Excellent communication skills are essential in order to build rapport and provide support and care to patients living within the community.
Previous experience in primary health care, community or ward-based nursing would be advantageous.You will have the opportunity to work in conjunction with an experienced multi-discipline team including GP's, ED Visiting Medical Officers, experienced Clinical Nurse Specialists, Registered and Enrolled Nurses and a visiting palliative care specialist.
You will work within the patients' home and in the Ambulatory Care Unit.
