About the position As an Enrolled Nurse you will support and deliver high quality clinical care in accordance with standards, guidelines, legislation, company policy and procedures under the direct or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse.
This position is Casual based at Coolbinia.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will:
Apply the practice of enrolled nursing and provide health monitoring, advice and consultation to customers to meet their identified health, well-being and clinical intervention needs. Support customers with daily living areas of communication, personal care, advocacy, skill development and social interaction within the customer's home and community. Deliver direct and comprehensive enrolled nursing care, intervention, and individual case management to customers including tracheostomy management in consultation with a Registered Nurse. Consult with the Registered Nurse, Nurse Coordinator or Nurse Manager in relation to health issues/concerns of customers on a shift basis. Carry out practical nursing procedures and treatments as required (e.g. dressings, airway management, medications, oxygen administration, etc.) and report relevant observations to medical staff and family or advocate where appropriate. Communicate effectively with medical practitioners and/or Health Service providers on service user care and complex health issues as required. Implement care plans as documented.
