As an Enrolled Nurse in our aged care facility, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.Position Overview:We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our aged care team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This role offers the chance to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the overall health and well-being of our residents.Key Responsibilities:Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical professionals.Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to the Registered Nurse.Assist with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing assessments and interventions.Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and professional development activities.Qualifications:Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled Nurse) qualification.Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Previous experience working in aged care or a similar healthcare setting is highly desirable.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.Compassionate nature and genuine interest in working with elderly individuals.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently when required.Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing aged care services.
