About the role The Enrolled Nurse works under the direction of the Registered Nurse and is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment within the Findlay surgical unit at Calvary St Luke's Hospital. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, the Enrolled Nurse works within a team of dedicated staff who provide support, encouragement, and foster safe clinical practice.
This position is based on the Surgical Ward at Calvary St Luke's Private Hospital including Orthopaedic, ENT and Day Ward.
Your main duties will include: Participate in the delivery of a patient centred model of care within a safe environment. Perform the function of an Enrolled Nurse Medication Endorsed within scope of practise. Demonstrate competent and safe practise when administering medications including nursing duties.
