As part of this contract, Serco, in partnership with Bupa, provide defence-ready clinical and support staff across 50+ on-base locations nationally, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care.About the RoleAs the Enrolled Nurse at Tindal Health Centre, you will provide outpatient assessment and health promotion services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
You will assess care levels required for patients and set priorities accordingly, initiate treatment for minor injuries and illnesses and be available to take last-minute shifts, ensuring flexible and responsive healthcare delivery.To be successful in this role, you will have:A current, unconditional, and unrestricted registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), General with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).At least 2 years' full-time post-registration nursing experience within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent), in an acute care, primary healthcare, or military setting.Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.A current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Defence security clearance.About the LocationTindal Health Centre is located at RAAF Base Tindal, 15km outside Katherine, and 320km south-east of Darwin.
The facility has a routine dependency of approximately 550 Defence members, surging at regular Air Force exercise periods throughout the year.
