About The Role: Enrolled Nurses are responsible for providing exceptional resident focused care in the areas of s8, insulin and warfarin checks, medication & pain management, best practice wound care and pathology management as well as working with the rest of the clinical team to deliver day-to-day care and lifestyle support.
In this role you will follow pre-determined care plans, preparation of basic assessment forms and completion of other documentation to support our RNs.
In this role, you will be responsible for: Providing services designed to promote dignity, choice and independence Working within your full scope of clinical ability Issuing medications Performing physical assessments and observations in accordance with the resident's clinical condition and report variances to RN. Completing documentation in an accurate and timely manner Contributing to and implementing care plans as formulated in collaboration with RN's. Evaluating the progress of the resident based on identified care needs and reporting outcomes. Participating in the admission and transition of care for residents Delivering care in accordance with the needs, goals, and preference of the resident Modelling professional enrolled nursing standards and conduct and take steps as a clinical leader to ensure a healthy workplace culture. About You: As someone with a proven track record of compassion, you will demonstrate kindness and empathy with the elderly and other diverse individuals.
You will possess an intuitive responsiveness to aged care residents' individual wants and needs, whilst maintaining calm, composed and optimistic when faced with stressful or high pressure situations.

To succeed in this role you will need the following skills and attributes: Demonstrated ability to operate independently with a high level of initiative Ability to work in a diverse team environment and to communicate effectively with management, staff, and stakeholders, including families and medical and allied health professionals Ability to demonstrate kindness and empathy across all channels and model behaviours that align with the Shoreline's vision and CREED Highly developed organisational skills and ability to determine work priorities. Understanding of the ageing process and a commitment to advocate for older people in residential care and/or home care. Commitment to ongoing professional development Ability to use Microsoft Office software and other desktop applications to an intermediate level. Police check clearance; and Up-to-date vaccination as required by legislation or industry best practice from time to time.
