About the role Mater Private Hospital Brisbane is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enrolled Nurse to join the Acute Medical team on a fixed-term, 4 month full-time position.
Mater Private Hospital Brisbane (MPHB) is an outstanding healthcare provider consisting of 323 patient beds, 10 operating theatres and a 24-hour private emergency service, offering over 35 clinical services in addition to a range of supporting non-clinical services for patients and visitors. The Acute Medical Unit is a large multifaceted service incorporating all aspects of the internal care continuum for medical patients from the emergency department through to discharge from hospital.
Salary range: $35.88 - $38.21 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you'll be doing We are searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated Enrolled Nurse to continue to provide clinical expertise in a dignified and respectful manner, working closely with patients and their families to ensure a sensitive, welcoming and friendly environment at all times, whilst providing optimal patient outcomes.
About you The successful candidates must have:
Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (no restrictions) Considerable Acute Nursing experience, preferably in a medical environment High level of communication skill including the ability to relate with elder patients in a dignified and respectful manner The ability to contribute effectively and efficiently within a busy, multidisciplinary team environment The successful applicant will be self-motivated, self-starter who can work collaboratively with other speciality representatives to achieve a common goal. Further, you will be committed to providing quality care and service to patients and their families.
