We are looking for Enrolled or Registered Nurses experienced in wound management and personal care.
Experience in wound management is essential. Victorian full drivers' license and car is a mandatory requirement. Preference to work on ABN. General duties include: Provide personal care and support to individuals in their own homes. Domestic tasks. Meal preparation and services. Assistance with activities of daily living. Transport to and from medical appointments and social outings. Supporting people with complex needs. To be successful you will need: An understanding of delivering care in a person-centered way. A positive, reliable, empathetic approach to support people of all ages and backgrounds living with a disability. Availability and reliability. Clear and effective communication skills; ability to speak another language is highly desirable. Ability to problem-solve and adhere to the program and routine. Ability to engage positively with a variety of personality types. Ability to fulfill shift duties with excellent time management skills. Have an appropriate visa to work in Australia. Empathetic and understanding approach to providing care to people with complex needs, including mental health. Must be a competent and knowledgeable cook. Required qualifications: Minimum of two years experience in a relevant field. Relevant qualification with AHPRA registration. Victorian full drivers' license or valid Australian license. Current Police check within the last 12 months or willingness to obtain prior to employment. Working with Children Check (WWC). NDIS worker screening check (NDIS-WC). Smartphone with the ability to install apps. Current first aid/CPR certificate. Drivers license and own fully insured transport. Completion of the NDIS new worker module or willingness to complete as part of the organization's induction process. Manual handling training (or willing to obtain). International Police check (if applicable). COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate or immunization evidence. Students encouraged to apply.
