The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following: Contribute to assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of person centred nursing care under the delegation of the registered nurse/midwife. Work as an effective member within a multidisciplinary team. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with the multidisciplinary team, patients and their families. Use or learn to use information systems appropriate to the position. Own ongoing professional development. About the Unit: Eventide Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) is a Queensland Health managed aged care service within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) and is located at Charters Towers. The facility provides care for 70 residents with 26 places for dementia care, 10 places for pyscho-geriatric care and 34 places for older persons who require care due to fragility and complex care needs.
What the Townsville Hospital and Health Service has to offer: Generous remuneration package value up to $86,513 p.a. comprising: Salary range of $2730.40 to $2897.80 p.f. or $35.92 to $38.12 p.h. (Nurse Grade 3) Annual leave with 17.5% loading 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
