About the role: We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our friendly and supportive Home and Community Care team in the North Metropolitan area of Perth. The successful candidate will visit customers in their own homes across the Perth Metropolitan region, with a particular focus on clients North of the River.
As an Enrolled Nurse with Juniper Community, you will provide nursing care for customers under the supervision of Registered Nurses, including assisting with assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. You will work within the broader Home and Community team, including allied health, case managers, and community support workers. Renowned for our commitment to the delivery of person-centred care and best practice in relation to quality care, you will be working in a supportive environment that encourages initiative.
This is a permanent part-time position working 30 hours per week (0.8 FTE). Working hours are between 8 am - 4 pm, Monday to Friday, with the four days of work negotiated with the successful candidate. Candidates must be willing to travel around the Perth Metropolitan area. Previous experience in Home and Community Care will be viewed favourably.
Key Responsibilities: Assess and review customer needs in consultation with case managers.Develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care in partnership with customers and their significant others.Liaise with appropriate healthcare professionals to deliver quality care to customers.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.Ensure full compliance with organisation, professional, and aged care standards.Key Requirements: Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse.Ability to relate to elderly customers with empathy while working effectively with other health professionals, service providers, and case managers.Strong clinical assessment skills.Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills.Enthusiasm for professional growth and development.Experience with surgical drains, PICCS/Ports, wound care, and Topical Negative Pressure Dressings - desirable.Experience with IDC, SPC, trial of void, PEG, compression bandaging, mental health needs, and strategies for living with dementia - desirable.Current Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle - both essential.What's on offer: Attractive remuneration of $36.41 - $38.69 per hour, dependent on experience, plus 11.5% superannuation.Salary Package up to $18,550 per annum tax-free.Generous annual leave loading of 17.5%.Supportive environment with regular and ongoing professional development.Work phone and laptop provided.Pool cars available or mileage paid for use of own vehicle.Non-profit values-driven Western Australian aged care provider.Access to Juniperks, an online platform that unlocks exclusive retail discounts, employee perks, wellness initiatives, and peer acknowledgement.Health Insurance discounts.Employee Assistance Program with free counselling.How to apply: To be considered for this position, please submit your application online, including a current curriculum vitae.
