About us: At our Community Care Unit we provide medium to long term mental health care and rehabilitation in a supervised residential setting for people aged between 18-65 who are in recovery, but require support to transition to independent living.The team at the unit support residents and help them develop skills required to live in the community, such as:
Staying well – both physical and mental health including medication management. Life skills such as cooking, cleaning and shopping. Community access e.g. using public transport. Community linking e.g. to sports or social organisations. Return to work or study. About the role: The Enrolled Nurse (EN) performs the role under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and is responsible for delivering competent, evidence-based nursing care within the scope of practice. The position works collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and reliable cares are provided within the dynamic health environment of the Community Care Unit. The Enrolled Nurse with the multidisciplinary team will provide support and assistance to consumers of an adult age group with a diagnosis of a severe and enduring mental illness in their individualised recovery journey.
About you: Mandatory qualification/s: Mandatory qualification/s and professional registration requirements. Demonstrated a competent level of knowledge and skill to undertake routine clinical practice with a basic understanding of recovery focussed Mental Health care. Ability to deliver routine adult mental health clinical services utilising time management and prioritisation skills. An ability to contribute to the professional development of self and others through education, professional networking and application of evidence-based practice. What we offer: Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $56,892 p.a. is comprised of:
