Nurse Next Door Wagga Wagga is looking for a superstar Care Ambassador who will ensure that our clients are safe and happy in their own homes, and to supervise a team of caregivers & nurses who love doing what they do.
Nurse Next Door Wagga Wagga is looking for a permanent part time (0.8 FTE) Enrolled Nurse, who will assume a Supervisory Role as our Care Ambassador.

Responsibilities: Happier Ageing is at the heart of what we do — enabling people to live at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do.
As our Care Ambassador you will work 30 hours per week, core hours Tuesday to Friday, with some on-call duties.
This is an office based role in Wagga Wagga.
As a Care Ambassador, you are responsible for initiating Happier Ageing experiences for Clients and Caregivers, as well as supporting the daily operations of the business.
In every Client care situation, you seek innovative solutions.
You are able to support with delegated care management from the first visit to end of service.
You will drive results through the following main duties and responsibilities:
Clinical Duties: Execute on the client's care plan as outlined by the Care DesignerHelp clients with their ADL's (Activities of Daily Living)Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercisesWound care and assessmentMedication administrationPalliative CareComplete records and documentation accurately and thoroughlyManagement Duties: Report to Care Designer (Clinical Manager) and Director on a regular basisCreate and update person-centered care plans.Complete Caring Consults for new client intakes.Monitor and manage PPE and nursing supplies inventory and delivery.Daily reviews of progress notes and ensure closure of any gaps in care are attended to.Collaborate with patients' families, friends, and medical team in implementing care plans.Follow-up with clients to evaluate progress, promote continuity of care, and ensure improved health outcomes.Conduct regular First Visits, Supervisory Visits and Practical Assessments to ensure policies and procedures are followed by all staff.Check skills updates of all care team members are accurate and up to date.Handle complaints and other issues.Assist with Staff Education, Development and TrainingAdministration and record keepingAssist the Operations Team with workforce managementFill vacant visitsRostered on-call duties, 4 week cycleMandatory Requirements: AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with no conditionsCPR and First Aid CertificationWorking With Children CheckNDIS Worker Screener CheckCar and valid Australian driver's licenseAvailability for a 24/7 operation with flexibility as needed.Experience Requirements: Experience as an Enrolled Nurse.Up-to-date knowledge and expertise in wound care or complex care, catheterisation, medication management, diabetes management and other key areas are highly regarded.Home Care experience an advantage but not necessary.Proficiency with technology including mobile apps, desktop applications, and Google Suite.Passionate about making a difference.A self-led leader with the ability to take responsibility for their behaviour and success.Ability to identify and report client care concerns to the Care Designer (where required)How do your skills match this job?
