Where you'll be working
6D is a 30 bed cardiology ward, including 6 coronary care beds. The unit offers a structured learning environment, career development opportunities and a friendly supportive team, 12 and 8 hour shifts are available.
What you'll be doing
The purpose of this role is to provide safe and effective nursing care to patients using an individualised holistic approach related to the goals of care determined by the Primary Nurse (Registered Nurse) and within professional role limits and Enrolled Nurse Scope of Practice. In the delivery of nursing care, the Enrolled Nurse will work under both the direct and indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse.
The Enrolled Nurse will consult with the registered nurse to ensure delegation is commensurate with own level of competence and within Local Health District (LHD) and Service policy, particularly in relation to the administration of medications.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
Post registration experience in an acute hospital setting.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
