Enrolled Nurse Advanced Skill - Geriatrics Sub-AcutePermanent part-time opportunity to provide an advanced level of care based on demonstrated continuing education, experience and competence, and demonstration of requisite leadership skills within Ebbtide House sub-acute geriatric services.
Demonstrated advanced practice is specific to the context in which the ENAS works and is based on the complexity of the service required and the necessity to provide that service.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Recognise and respond appropriately and report sudden alterations in the patient's condition and workload changes in a timely manner to the registered nurse.Undertake unit activities other than direct patient-centred care such as advance skill portfolio/s and/or participate on committees.Participate in performance and development planning activities and support unregulated and other co-workers within role expectations.Health Equity It is expected that all Metro North Health staff, including the incumbent of this role as a valuable member of the Metro North workforce, contribute to the health equity agenda and meet the intent of supporting the defined six actions that specifically meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
