With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2024.

We're seeking a part-time (FTE 0.329) Primary Enrichment Learning Support Assistant, working 2 days per week (8:45am-3:30pm), at our Narre Warren South campus to be a key part of our team, helping students reach their full potential and providing them with the tools and support they need to excel.

The Enrichment Learning Support Assistant plays a critical role in assisting teachers to support students who are Gifted and Talented. You will provide differentiated in-class support, facilitate extension activities for individuals and small groups, and contribute to enrichment programs, ensuring students are engaged in advanced learning, particularly in English and Mathematics.

You are an ideal candidate if you: Have a minimum of a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support, or be prepared to study towards one Candidates studying towards teaching will be highly regarded Have experience working with gifted and talented students, or a strong interest in supporting their development. Can demonstrate high level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, students, and parents. A Working with Children's Check, and a Police Check less than three months old are mandatory prior to being hired. A First Aid Certificate (HLTAD011) and Anaphylaxis Certificate are also required prior to starting in the role.
