This position is responsible for managing and responding to enquiries related to services offered by Melba Support Services. The role involves providing accurate information, guidance and support to people seeking access to services, including prospective people supported and their representatives, ensuring their needs are addressed effectively and empathetically.
The position is for 24 hours weekly, with working hours set from 8:30 AM to 5 PM on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Responsibilities:
Reception and Administration: Ensure a welcoming reception area while managing mail, meeting rooms, clerical tasks, and office supplies. Enquiry Management: Handle inquiries professionally, providing accurate information and directing them to the appropriate departments. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain a confidential database of inquiries and prepare reports on trends and client needs. Collaboration: Collaborate with departments for accurate information, participate in training, and coordinate maintenance efforts. Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience working in reception, customer service or like role required. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple activities and prioritise tasks. High level of organisational skills and attention to detail. Additional Requirements:
A current NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check (we can support you through the process of obtaining one or both checks if you don't already have them). The ability and relevant driver's license to perform travel as required to undertake the key accountabilities of the role. Compliance with OHS&W regulations, legislation, and Policies and Procedures is required. Successful completion of pre-employment safety screening checks, mandatory training, and their subsequent renewals is necessary. Why Join Us?
