This is an ongoing position with a teaching load ranging from 0.6 FTE to full time as negotiated. We are seeking the candidate to commence in Term 1, 2025 or as soon as available.Our ideal candidate is an exemplary practitioner with the ability to inspire students and promote personal achievement. Hold qualifications in secondary English and have a successful teaching background, with experience teaching 7 to 12, including up to ATAR level.A high level of WA curriculum knowledge and an ability to impart this knowledge to students effectively.Be collaborative and flexible and able to work in a team environment.Have experience in effectively managing the pastoral needs of students.Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills in interactions with colleagues, parents and students.Apply exceptional pedagogical principles in the classroom including the use of ICT skills, and creative and critical thinking tools.Possess competent digital technology skills.Be able to create an engaging learning environment.Possess the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and members of the broader College community.Demonstrate a willingness to contribute to our extensive programme of co-curricular activities.Employee Value Proposition
