Teaching - Secondary (Education & Training) Founded in 1980, Christian College Geelong is a K-12 school where academic achievement is balanced with care and concern for each student's character development and wellbeing, grounded in the Christian faith. We have five campuses across Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast region as well as a rural experience for Year 9 students at an expansive farm property in Scotsburn, near Ballarat, and a unique Art, Technology and Design campus for Senior School students in Waurn Ponds.

THE ROLE We are seeking to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced educator to this position, commencing Term 1 - 2025. The successful candidate will join the highly professional, dynamic and industrious English Faculty. The ability to teach VCE Literature and/or English Language would be considered an advantage.
The English faculty team work collaboratively and collegially, sharing creative pedagogy and resources to provide an education which stretches and challenges, nurtures, and supports all students to achieve their personal best.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for engaging and challenging students and for utilising learning technologies.
There is also the possibility for the role to encompass a position of responsibility as a Senior School English Coordinator for the right candidate.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field Teaching certification and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). Demonstrated experience in teaching English at a secondary level.
