(German Red Cross), is the only school in Thuringia to offer in-depth foreign language learning from Year 1.
Our school is state-recognised and our work is based on the Thuringian School Act, the curricula, the education plan, and, above all, our school concept.
Some of our pupils are taught bilingually.
We work together in an international team of German, English, and French teachers.
To support our team at the DUALINGO bilingual all-day primary school in Jena, we are looking for an English Teacher/native level speakers (m/f/d) with teaching experience and/or a university degree, who can include their country's culture, be it UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or from other English-speaking countries, into their lesson plan.
Degree Required Applicants should have one of the following required qualifications:
BA TEFL ESL Certificate MA MA TEFL MA Linguistics Certificate in English Language Teaching Skills (Primary) Cambridge CELTA Trinity CertTESOL TEFL Certificate TESOL Certificate Cambridge DELTA Cambridge DELTA Requirements You enjoy working with children You (preferably) have experience teaching at primary school age You are a team worker You are keen to get further training and bring in new ideas You can speak German, or are willing to learn Applicants must have permission to work in the EU or hold a valid work permit for employment in the EU.
