About the position
The Scots College is an innovative and creative teaching and learning environment for boys T-12.

We are seeking an exceptional English Teacher to join our progressive and supportive Glengarry campus.
This is a permanent full-time position commencing in Term 3, 2024.
This position will allow the successful applicant to develop their faith and understanding of Christian Education in a residential setting.
Our Glengarry campus, is an extended stay and outdoor experiential education campus, located in the pristine Kangaroo Valley, two hours south west of Sydney.
It provides a distinctive learning environment in which Year 9 boys discover the tools they need to grow into fine young men.
Glengarry's residential program is a unique, expansive experience that accelerates boys; social development and it is renowned as a rite of passage into manhood.
Accommodation may be provided for 2024 if available, meals are included each day as is access to College facilities such as the gym.
Essential to this role
Qualifications in Secondary Education with a major in English/Humanities
Experience of delivering Cambridge IGCSE English Language / Cambridge IGCSE English Literature qualifications
Experience of teaching English/Humanities, years 7 to 12
Current accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
Demonstrated delivery of effective teaching and learning programs, fostering an inclusive and challenging learning environment
Be a confident and collaborative team player and an excellent communicator
