Tranby College is seeking expressions of interest from Years 7 to 12 English Teachers
who would relish the opportunity to design and deliver innovative and exciting Years 7 to
12 English programs to our outstanding students for a full-time appointment for 2024 with
the possibility of ongoing.
We are excited to hear from educators who:
• Have a passion for working with young people;
• Have the right to work in Australia;
• Hold or are eligible for TRBWA registration and a Working with Children Check;
• Hold a teaching degree (Essential) and are working towards being at the Highly Accomplished Teacher ATISL Standard (Desirable);

• Have a current HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (Desirable);
• Have excellent content and pedagogical knowledge and skills necessary to deliver effective teaching and learning programs;
• Can integrate digital and other technologies and experiential learning into their programs;
• Proficient skills in using information and learning technologies such as Microsoft 365;
• Design and deliver creative, innovative, and engaging learning experiences to secondary-aged students;
• Work collaboratively within a team of teachers and education paraprofessionals;
• Will positively contribute to the collective efficacy of our staff;
• Can use data and evidence to improve their teaching and student achievement and wellbeing;
• Be an excellent role model and mentor for students across the College;
• Will actively contribute to the broader College community and engage in our cocurricular program; and,
• Support our values and will work to help us achieve our mission and vision.
