We are seeking an exceptional English Teacher to join our progressive and supportive Glengarry campus. This is a permanent full-time position commencing in Term 3, 2024. This position will allow the successful applicant to develop their faith and understanding of Christian Education in a residential setting.
Our Glengarry campus is an extended stay and outdoor experiential education campus, located in the pristine Kangaroo Valley, two hours southwest of Sydney. It provides a distinctive learning environment in which Year 9 boys discover the tools they need to grow into fine young men.
Glengarry's residential program is a unique, expansive experience that accelerates boys' social development and is renowned as a rite of passage into manhood.
Accommodation may be provided for 2024 if available; meals are included each day as is access to College facilities such as the gym.
Essential to this role Qualifications in Secondary Education with a major in English/Humanities Experience of teaching English/Humanities, years 7 to 12 Current accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Demonstrated delivery of effective teaching and learning programs, fostering an inclusive and challenging learning environment Be a confident and collaborative team player and an excellent communicator We offer outstanding opportunities for professional development, a supportive work environment, and new experiences.
