The successful applicants will have a sound knowledge of secondary schooling, in particular innovative pedagogies and proven skills in positive connections with students.
For our senior school (Yr 11&12) positions, demonstrated experience in teaching SACE is essential.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes: Tertiary qualifications in teaching and the subjects identifiedRegistered to teach in South Australia or be eligible to obtain registrationHave an understanding of and commitment to Christian educationHave the desire and skills to participate in the school's pastoral care programmeHave the desire and skills to participate in the College's co-curricular programmeBe able to respond positively to the pressures of a modern classroomBe able to set high standards for student learning and their own performanceDeal effectively with the administrative detail of the positionAbility to communicate effectively with a wide range of people both verbally and in writingHighly developed interpersonal skills with the necessary cultural sensitivityKnowledge of and a commitment to the principles of equal opportunity and work safetyHighly desirable criteria At Trinity College, we highly value teachers who have a passion for, and experience in, how to engage students in their learning, take the time to understand their world and show that you care.
