English and Humanities Secondary TeacherPreshil is seeking a skilled, experienced, and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to teach English and Humanities in a progressive academic setting. This is a full-time ongoing position commencing in Term 1 2025. While some experience in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) is preferred, teachers with Secondary School experience are encouraged to apply.Responsibilities:To have a strong background in English and Literature teaching.Background in teaching VCE English and/or International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program Language & Literature desirable.To have a strong background in Humanities teaching.To be able to contribute to the Electives program.To demonstrate outstanding discipline-based knowledge and experience in teaching English and Literature in the Middle Years and Senior years.To carry out professional duties and have responsibility for assigned classes, co-curricular programs, and individual students.To be responsible for the day-to-day learning and management of classes and the safety and welfare of the students during on-site and off-site activities.To promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy of education.To carry out other duties as directed by the Principal.Application Questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Secondary Teacher?
