We've currently got a unique opportunity for a passionate trainer to join our engineering team as our Engineering Training Specialist.
Reporting to the Manager – Engineering Maintenance, the primary responsibility of the Engineering Training Specialist is to provide hands-on training and professional development opportunities to our Engineering Team, including ongoing competency-based training and department inductions in global best practice style.
Our Engineering Team is responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment and consists of Electricians, Mechanical Fitters and other electrical and mechanical trades.
The ideal candidate will have: Relevant trade qualification in an appropriate mechanical discipline with minimum 5 years post-trade experience and the ability to demonstrate a high standard of workmanship;  Hold a Training and Assessment (TAE) qualification; Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to perform manual handling and physically demanding work tasks; A current manual 'C' Class drivers' license; Intermediate computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite; and  Working at heights qualification (or ability to obtain) is highly desirable If you enjoy variety, a busy team environment, delivering learning experiences and would take pride in maintaining Australia's favourite family theme park to a world class standard, this could be the job for you - APPLY NOW ONLINE!
