Engineering Training Administration Officer

Rex is Australia's largest independent regional and domestic airline operating a fleet of 58 Saab 340 and 10 Boeing 737-800NG aircraft to 57 destinations throughout all states in Australia. In addition to the airline Rex, the Rex Group comprises wholly owned subsidiaries Pel-Air Aviation (air freight, aeromedical and charter operator) and the two pilot academies, Australian Airline Pilot Academy in Wagga Wagga and Ballarat.Rex is seeking a suitably experienced and motivated individual in the full-time role of Engineering Training Administration Officer. This position is based in Wagga Wagga, NSW. Other locations may be considered for the right candidate.Reporting:This position reports to Engineering Training Manager and General Manager, Engineering.Position ResponsibilitiesCoordination of apprentice trainingAdministration and maintenance of Engineering Training CBTsCreation of Engineering Training CBTs, training materials and Power Point presentations utilizing the assistance of appropriate technical Subject Matter ExpertsAdministration of Engineering Training examination questionsAssessment of training requirements for component maintenance in conjunction with the relevant Technical Support EngineerAdministration of training manual currency and training manual reviewsCreation of Training InstructionsAdministration and Maintenance of Engineering Training RecordsInitiation and monitoring of Company Authorization issuing and renewalsOther Duties as reasonably requested or instructed by the General Manager Engineering or Engineering Training Manager.Selection Criteria:Confident and capable to use computer systems and technology applicationsExcellent organisational skills and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to work unsupervisedPositive 'can do' attitudeSalary and Conditions will be discussed with the successful applicant. To Apply:Please submit your application with a copy of your resume and cover letter by 28 January 2024.
