Optimum Air Pty Ltd , a leading company in the HVAC industry, is currently hiring an experienced full-time Engineering Technologist to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities: As an Engineering Technologist at Optimum Air, you will be responsible for investigating and reviewing the utilization of personnel, facilities, equipment, and materials in our commercial, industrial, and production environments.
Your primary goal will be to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Analysing current operational processes and established practices to identify inefficiencies.
Evaluating the utilization of personnel, facilities, equipment, and materials to pinpoint areas of optimization.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights from various departments.
Conducting research to identify industry best practices and emerging technologies that can be integrated for process enhancement.
Developing and implementing improvement plans to streamline operations and increase productivity.
Monitoring the effectiveness of implemented changes and adjusting as needed.
Providing technical expertise and support to management and staff in matters related to operational efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant qualifications.
Proven 2-3 years' experience in the HVAC industry with a focus on air conditioning and ventilation systems.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply engineering principles to practical solutions.
Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
Salary: Competitive annual salary of $80,000 - $90,000 p.a.
+ superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
