In this role, you will design and develop mechanical systems, create detailed technical drawings using CAMDUCT and AutoCAD, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with industry standards. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and optimising existing designs to improve efficiency and performance.
Benefits Salary plus Super Professional development opportunities Supportive work environment Task & Responsibilities Designing, programming & creating CAD drawings (AutoCAD, CAMDUCT) and testing, manufacturing Shapeair products, consistently innovating new products. Responsible for accurately estimating costs during the tender stage and verifying technical specifications of projects. Conducting detailed quantity take-offs for all projects by thoroughly analysing tender drawings and shop-floor drawings. Examining technical drawings of projects and addressing them in accordance with client requirements. Collaborating with Draftsmen, consultants, estimators, and architects on HVAC product design, leveraging proficient knowledge in engineering design using CAMDUCT and AutoCAD. Providing technical support to Sales team and Production managers to optimize lead time in product manufacturing and meet project timelines. Developing technical data sheets and submittals for manufactured products, specifying materials and equipment used in the production process. Coordinating with warehouse, production, and dispatch teams to procure raw materials and manage inventory, ensuring smooth operations from start to final delivery. Participating in Safety meetings, promptly addressing inventory issues, and ensuring timely resolution by identifying alternative solutions for order fulfilment and reporting to management. Providing guidance and implementing continuous improvement efforts to enhance the quality of products.
