The main duties the candidate should undertake:
Assemble, install, test, calibrate, modify and repair electrical equipment and installations to conform with regulations and safety requirementsDesign and layout of electrical installations and circuity on switch gear, cabling systems and motor control systems Analyse and modify new and existing engineering technologies to increase efficiency and reduce expensesCollaborate with the engineering team to develop engineering solutions that meet project requirements and customer needsProvide technical support and training to internal teams and customers as needed Examine project change requests and advise on related engineering mattersEnsure safety processes and comply with all local electrical safety rulesThe Requirements Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years working experience as Engineering Technologist Proven experience using AutoCAD and Solid works Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices. Excellent communication both written and verbalAbility to work autonomously and as part of a team
