Engineering Technologist

Renewable Bio Pty Ltd, a leading producer of raw biomass for sustainable energy, is seeking an Engineering Technologist to join our Esperance team. You will play a crucial role in operating and executing biochar production tasks, ensuring safety, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.Responsibilities:Operational Excellence: Achieve production targets, maintain plant safety, and contribute to a collaborative work environment.Technical Expertise: Analyse existing technology, recommend improvements, and conduct testing procedures.Financial Management: Manage operational costs, invoices, and accounts payable.Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders, provide technical support, and foster professional relationships.Asset Management: Maintain and promote responsible use of organisational assets.Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensure a safe workplace, report hazards, and participate in HSE initiatives.Qualifications:Driving licence.Tertiary engineering qualification (mechanical or electrical preferred).At least 2-3 years of experience as an Engineering Process Technologist/Technician in a relevant industry.Experience managing operations across multiple sites.Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and computer skills.Ability to interpret process instrumentation diagrams.Excellent documentation, analytical, and reporting skills.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Be part of a dynamic team committed to a cleaner energy future.Contribute to sustainable biochar production and environmental responsibility.Work in a collaborative and supportive environment.
