The Role We are looking for a professional Engineering Technologist with a willingness to tackle any technical challenge and come up with innovative solutions. We are excited about your interest in joining our growing team Key Duties Acceptance of new audiovisual equipment to ensure the normal operation of equipment and adjust or correct operating problems if necessary Regularly examine and test machines and equipment, analyse and evaluate equipment faults and defects to determine root-cause and apply appropriate maintenance measures according to technical specifications Plan repair and maintenance schedules that comply with standard completion times Prepare technical documentation in clear and concise terms in accordance with good engineering practice Provide technical support and training to internal teams and customers as needed Analyse and modify new and existing engineering technologies and apply them in the testing, implementation and monitoring of engineering projects Participate in professional development and training to stay updated with industry trends and technologies Skills & Experience Degree qualified in Engineering (ideally Electronic background) A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar role Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices Proficient in using circuit board CAD software Strong analytical problem-solving skills with ability to overcome unforeseen obstacles
