Engineering Technician Needed In Australia New

Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineering Technician to become part of a dedicated team working on a project involving the construction of a large multi-service training facility.
Location: Melbourne, Australia
Salary: AUD $90,000 - $100,000 per annum
The Role

Undertake the design of Civil Engineering elements of the proposed scheme.
Provide technical assistance to the members of the Engineering team.
Assist the Engineering team to ensure project delivery within agreed timescales and budgets.
Expected to exercise a degree of autonomy in decision-making related to the accomplishment of the team's objectives.
Respond to requests for information.
Ensure that project information systems are kept up to date.
Responsible for technical information flow.
Follow established policies, procedures and instructions to ensure action is taken in a timely manner.

Requirements

Engineering degree/diploma.
Minimum of 4 years experience working in a construction environment.
Experience in the use of Civil Engineering design software.
Experience and ability to work within project teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with clients, architects, contractors, and other consultants (at all levels).
