Engineering Technician

Position Description

You will serve as an Engineering Technician in the Facility and Infrastructure Management Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTH.


Position Duties/ResponsibilitiesYou will provide assistance in the continual refinement of facility requirements based on customer needs and overall plant requirements and readiness.You will offer assistance in the preparation and justification of short and long-range plans for modification, rearrangements, and modernization of industrial processing and support shops.You will analyze floors, walls, roofs, and drain systems for safe operation and condition as well as coordinate studies for continual improvements to the facilities and supporting systems.You will manage plant equipment by identifying and analyzing customer requirements to ensure planned maintenance cycles are current and being carried out by the maintenance crew.You will determine specific project requirements with customers and facilitate the development of necessary engineering drawings, sketches, and supporting documentation for project implementation.Salary InformationMinimum Salary: 84462.0
