We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician to join our team of passionate and experienced engineers, designers and technicians. You will be working on the development of some of the industry's best underground mining vehicles for our customers across the globe. The role will be based at our modern facility in Burnie, Tasmania.

As a key member of the Product Development team, you will be building and testing prototype and pilot machines in the Research and Development workshop.
About the Role This is a hands-on role and will report to our Engineering Manager.
Key tasks will include:

Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade (Diesel Fitting) or similar.Hydraulics and failure analysis training and experience will be highly regarded.Advanced mechanical ability, technical knowledge, troubleshooting, diagnosis and problem solving skills.Heavy machinery / mobile plant experience.An exceptional level of attention to detail.Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.Ability to prioritise effectively to meet development schedules.Ability to work effectively within a high-performing team.About us At Elphinstone, our most important asset is our people.
