Job DescriptionAbout the Position: An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Technical Officer to join the Shire of Broome. The Engineering Technical Officer will be involved in various technical engineering matters within the Shire of Broome. The successful applicant shall provide and support others in the development of engineering investigations, design and drafting, asset management tasks, minor contract management, cemetery operations, subdivisional processes, and customer service for the Shire of Broome.
This is a permanent full-time position. Ordinary work hours are Monday to Friday 7.45am-4.30pm based in the Shire Administration Office. Flexible working arrangements can be considered. About You: Our ideal candidate will have:
Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering and/or drafting or more than 5 years of experience in the industry without recognized qualifications.It is desirable that our candidate have:
Traffic management or road safety accreditations.Grant application and acquittal skills.Minor project management experience, including tendering, WHS administration, and contractor supervision.Experience in Local government.Don't meet every single requirement?
